Donese Bryan

Donese Washington Bryan, age 78 of 910 Laurel Glenn Church Road, Sparta, NC passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at her residence. She was born November 27, 1939 in Alleghany County to the late Johnny and Annie Reeves Washington. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Jeff Bryan; six brothers, Ray Washington, Paul Washington, Wayne Washington, Claude Washington, Paige Washington, Clifford Washington; three sisters, Thelma W. Gambill, Ann Washington, Cora Washington. Donese was a member of White Plains Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Greg M. Bryan of Sparta, Eric M. Bryan and wife Erin of Rock Hill, SC; one daughter, Joan Bryan of Sparta; two grandchildren, Kendra Bryan and Sydney Bryan both of Rock Hill, SC; one sister, Edith W. Bryan; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family requests the honor of your presence at the graveside service to honor the life of Donese at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2018 at White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Roosevelt Carlton officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the graveside service from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
