Bernice Lowe Tabor

Bernice Francis Lowe Tabor, age 84 of Thomasville, NC passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024 at her residence with her children by her side. She was born May 29, 1939 to the late Leonard B. and Annie Vaughan Lowe. She was also preceded in death by her husband E.J. Murphy; three brothers, Bill Lowe, Jerry Lowe, J.C. Lowe; one granddaughter, Leslie Davis. Bernice was a member of Little Pine Church of the Brethren. She is survived by one son, David Murphy of Glade Valley; two daughters, Phyllis Murphy of Thomasville, Brenda Murphy Driggers and husband Charles of Archdale; three grandsons, Michael Davis and wife Erin of Winston-Salem, Nick Driggers of Trinity, Derrick Driggers and wife Anna of Archdale; three great-grandchildren, Shea Driggers of Trinity, Weston Driggers of Trinity, Colton Driggers of Archdale; two step great-granddaughters, Mikaylyn Rhodes and Autumn Rhodes; one sister, Bonnie Brandon of Fort White, Florida; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family requests the honor of your presence at the funeral service to honor the life of Bernice at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 8, 2024 at Little Pine Covenant Brethren Church with Rev. Eddie Wooten and Mr. Bob Cleary officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Hospice of Davidson County and all the help from her niece Janice Murphy.
