Brian Lee Rash, age 68 of Glade Valley, NC passed away Monday, January 8, 2024 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. He was born in Alleghany County to the late Sherman and Leava Crouse Rash. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Ethel Holbrook, Pauline Whitehead, Kathleen Underwood; one brother, Randolph Rash. Brian was a man of many talents. He was a wonderful husband, Dad, Grandpa, and brother. He was the best friend you could ever have. Brian is survived by his wife, Lisa Rash of the home; three sons, Daniel Rash and wife Tatiana of Sparta, Jeremy Rash and wife Chelsey of Amarillo, TX, Ethan Rash and girlfriend Chasey Baremor of Glade Valley; four grandchildren, Grace White, Emma White, Oliver Rash, Wallace Rash; four brothers, Frank Rash of Glade Valley, Ronnie Rash and wife Nancy of Charlotte, Earl Rash and wife Ellen of Huntsville, TN, Gary Rash and wife Janet of Salisbury; three sisters, Betty Ann Jones of Catawba, Henri Smith and husband James of Glade Valley, Rebecca Brooks and husband Jerry of Glade Valley; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family requests the honor of your presence at the memorial service to honor the life of Brian at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 18, 2024 in the chapel of Grandview Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
