Cecil Wagoner

Cecil Andrew Wagoner, age 74, of North Wilkesboro, NC passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020 at his residence. He was born March 26, 1946 in Alleghany County to the late Roy and Wilma Grace Wagoner. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Margie Pennington Wagoner. Cecil served his country in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marines from May 27, 1966 to January 30, 1970. He was a Vietnam veteran. He loved hunting, fishing, and deep sea fishing. He is survived by one daughter, Patty Howard and husband William of N. Wilkesboro; two sons, Carlos Bare of Ennice, Marcus Pennington of McGrady; four grandchildren, Brandon Bare, Brittany Bell, Austin Brackins, and Sara Pennington; three great-grandchildren also survive. Due to the current COVID-19 concerns, a Celebration Graveside service will be held a later date. An announcement will be made by Grandview Memorial Funeral Home once the services have been scheduled.
