Charlie Gene Hodges, age 70 of 8904 Mar-Lynn Drive, Delmar, MD passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Maryland. He was born May 14, 1947 in Surry County to the late Everette and Alice Hawks Hodges. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one brother, Pete Hodges. He is survived by two brothers, his twin brother, Carlie Hodges and wife Bessie of Sparta, Everette L. Hodges, Jr., and wife Sonia of Huntsville, AL; two sisters, Brenda Hodges Tompkins and husband Teddy of King, Rita Hodges Clement and husband Jerry of Lenoir; special caregiver, Pat Nock of Salisbury, MD; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family requests the honor of your presence at the graveside service to honor the life of Charlie at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Surry County with Brother Ed Hall officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, PO Box 305, Lowgap, NC 27024.
