Arlis Darrell Manuel, age 71, of 307 Cherry Lane Road, Glade Valley, NC passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. He was born April 20, 1948 in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Arlis Eugene and Gleda Dell Lineberry Manuel. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his companion, Gay Nell Pardue of the home; one brother, Joe Bill Manuel of California. The family requests the honor of your presence at the service to honor the life of Darrell at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 in the chapel of Grandview Memorial Funeral Home with Brother Ed Hall officiating. Interment will follow on the family property. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
