Odell was my mother’s, Gladys Cox Evans, first cousin and Elvira was her best friend. They would often double date and go to the little big city of Galax. Elvira shared her memories of my mom when I visited her, and told me how she missed her. It gives me joy to think of their happy reunion. God bless and comfort all the family. Just think of what a happy reunion she is having with all her loved ones. 💕

My sister Elaine Evans and I I were privileged to visit with Elvira several years ago. I was amazed by the beautiful floral watercolor she was painting out on her sun porch. She spoke to us of enjoying every day of her life. What a lovely spirit! No wonder my mom thought of her as her best friend. Dori Evans Novak
