Eva Moxley Todd

Eva Moxley Todd, age 94, of Glade Valley, North Carolina passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024 at her residence with her daughter and son in law, Chrystal and Ronnie by her side. Eva was born on December 7, 1929 in Alleghany County, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Estel Rex Moxley and the late Ada Killon Moxley. She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing and being outdoors in her garden and flowers. She always worked in agriculture, especially cabbage, and loved to pull galax leaves and cut and roll pine tips. She was known for raising and canning her own food. She was preceded in death by her Father, Estel Rex Moxley; Mother, Ada Moxley; Husband, Arnold Todd; Son, Dennis Todd; Four Brothers, Gwynn Moxley, Maynard Moxley, Lenwood Moxley, Leonard Moxley; Sister, Helen Moxley; Granddaughter, Kayla Hanson; Great-Grandson, Justin Todd; Son-In-Law, Thomas Pardue, II. Eva leaves behind to cherish her memory Four Sons, Curtis (Reba) Todd of Glade Valley, Ray (Audine) Todd of Galax, VA, Dean (Karen) Todd of Glade Valley, NC, Junior (Rennie) Todd of Glade Valley, NC; Five Daughters, Eva Jean McCann of Glade Valley, NC, Barbara (Allan) Atwood of Sparta, NC, Linda Purdue of Elkin, NC, Wilma (Jeff) Anders of Sparta, NC, Chrystal (Ronnie) Woodie of Glade Valley, NC; Daughter-In-Law, Tonya Todd of Ennice, NC; Sister, Ella Norman of Ennice, NC; Twenty Grandchildren; Two Step Grandchildren; Thirty Seven Great Grandchildren; Three Great Great Grandchildren; One Step Great Great Grandchild; and host of nieces and nephews. Services for Eva Moxley Todd will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Grandview Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Mountain View Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the service hour on Friday at the funeral home.
