To View LiveStream of Jettie's Service Click Here Jettie Louise Ham Evans Royal, age 98 of Sparta, NC passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at her residence. She was born May 5, 1925 to the late George Emrie and Nannie Edwards Ham. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Roscoe D. Evans, Sr. and her second husband, Elder Howard F. Royal; one son Roscoe Dean Evans, Jr.; three stepsons, Vernon Royal, Willie Royal, John Royal; three brothers, Arvie Ham, Albert Ham, Vilace Ham; two sisters, Versie Combs, Lola Davis. She is survived by three daughters, Reba Evans of the home, Mae Evans of the home, Linda Annas and husband Ronald of Raeford; three stepsons, James Royal and wife Evelyn of Sparta, Clarence Royal of Statesville, Carl Royal of Cody, WY; two grandsons, Roscoe Annas and wife Carly of Fayetteville, Corey Annas of Raeford; four great grandchildren, Naomie Givens, Angelina Annas, Myles Annas, Shoshanna Annas; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. The family requests the honor of your presence at the funeral service to honor the life of Jettie at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 30, 2023 in the chapel of Grandview Memorial Funeral Home with Elder Kyle Jordan, Elder Gwyn Hamm and Elder Larry Woodle officiating. Interment will follow at Landmark Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
