Linda Fields Wyatt

Linda Fields Wyatt, age 81 of West Columbia, South Carolina passed away Monday, October 16, 2023. She was born March 5, 1942 to the late Vance and Nellie Ramey Fields. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Wyatt; three brothers, Willard Fields, Jerry Fields and Jackie Fields; one sister, Bonnie Calhoun. Linda loved cross-stitching, word puzzles and sitting outside listening to the birds. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was very involved in their activities. She is survived by two daughters, Brenda W. Greer and husband Jeff of West Columbia, SC, Sandra L. Wyatt of Bishopville, SC; two grandchildren, Joshua Greer of Savannah, GA, and Kathryn E. Greer of Boone; two sisters, Clettie Smith of Ennice, Judy Parks and husband Philip of Galax, VA; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family request the honor of your presence at the funeral service to honor the life of Linda at 2:00 pm Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Meadow Creek Union Baptist Church in Galax, VA. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
