Marsha Lynn Boone, age 46 of 945 Bald Knob Road, Sparta, NC died Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. She was born November 9, 1968 in Alleghany County to Roy Boone and Ruth Murray Fender. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Boone; two half-brothers, Mack Fender and Lloyd Fender; one half-sister, Linda Ashley. She is survived by four sons, Mason Mullis, Jr., of Sparta, Alvin Mullis of West Jefferson, Kenny Mullis of Sparta, Paul Mullis of Greensboro; her mother, Ruth Murray Fender of Sparta; one half-brother, Robert Fender and wife Rita of Galax, VA; one half-sister, Mattie Blevins of Laurel Springs; special companion, Severo Naranjo “Chubby” Naranjo of the home; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family requests the honor of your presence at the funeral service to honor the life of Ms. Boone at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 10, 2015 in the chapel of Grandview Memorial Funeral Home with Brother Ed Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.
