Mike Caudill

Michael Lee “Mike” Caudill, age 51 of Sparta, NC died Friday, February 5, 2016 at his residence. He was born July 21, 1964 to James Caudill and Linda Caudell Nichols. He was preceded in death by his father. He was the superintendent for 20 years at New River Country Club. He was a man of great faith and loved the Lord. He loved his family and friends. He enjoyed all sports but golf was his favorite. He enjoyed helping coach his children over the years. He is survived by his wife Karena Blevins Caudill of the home; one daughter, Celeste Caudill of the home; one son, Grant Caudill of the home; his mother and stepfather, Linda and Richard Nichols of Sparta; two brothers, Tim Caudill and wife Andrea of Sparta, Steve Caudill and wife Karren of Myrtle Beach, SC; one sister, Cindy Caudill of Winterville; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family requests the honor of your presence at the Gathering of Remembrance service to honor the life of Mike at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 7, 2016, at First Baptist Church of Sparta with Reverend John McCray and Mr. Brett Jarrett officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Medi-Home Hospice of Alleghany, PO Box 1287, Sparta, NC 28675.
