Patricia Minor McCarn

Patricia Darlene Minor McCarn, age 63 of Sparta, NC passed away Friday, March 15, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Davie County on December 9, 1960 to Charlie J. and Lucile Colon Minor. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Chuck” McCarn; one brother, Richard Minor; two sisters, Janice Smith and Rebecca Renegar. Patricia loved to cook, crochet and loved her dogs. She loved taking care of people, cooking for, and feeding them. She is survived by three sons, Christopher McCarn and wife Amanda of Sparta, Derrick McCarn of Galax, VA, Jason McCarn and wife Lisa of High Point; one daughter, Michelle Born and husband Nathan of Statesville; nine grandchildren, Shane Cummings, Chase Stevens and wife Baylee, Hannah McCarn, Kristin McCarn, Montanna Williams, Phoenix McCarn, Lucas Born, Nathan Born, Hailey Hogan; six great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Kelly Bolen of Galax, VA; sister-in-law, Cathy Minor of Sparta; two brothers, David Minor of Sparta, Jay Minor and wife Patty of Sparta; two sisters, Donna Cagle of Turkey Foot, Paula Hunt and husband Tommy of Sparta; brother-in-law, Donald Renegar of Yadkinville and Charlie Watson and wife Lucy; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family request the honor of your presence at the Gathering of Remembrance service to honor the life of Patricia at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024 in the chapel of Grandview Memorial Funeral Home with Brother Ed Hall and Elder V. J. Hawks officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
