Robert (Bob) Ralph Greene, age 62 of Sparta North Carolina, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2023, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents Jim Greene, Sr., and Katy Greene. He is survived by his sister, Kathy Lampkin, and husband Ron; his brother Jim Greene, Jr. and wife Lynne; his niece Ashley Davis; and his nephew Matthew Greene. At Bob’s request, no memorial will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, 202 S. Main Street, Sparta, NC 28675. I remember Bob as a sweet, kind, and caring man. He was so helpful to my aunt after my grandfather passed away and she stayed here to take care of his affairs.
