Robert Paul Mullis

Robert Paul Mullis, age 44 of Sparta, NC 28675, passed away Monday, November 13, 2023 in Alleghany County. He was born October 6, 1979 to Robert Dean Mullis and the late Barbara Ann Mullis. He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bonnie and R.L. Parsons; paternal grandparents, Carrie and Paul Mullis. Robert loved to hunt and fish. He was a mechanic and liked working on small engines. He loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Janet Mullis of the home; his father, Robert Dean Mullis of Sparta; two sisters, LeAnn Phipps and husband Glen of Sparta, Shannon Martinez and husband Alex of Sparta; one daughter, Amber McWaters of Sparta, two sons, Donnie McWaters of Sparta, David McWaters and wife Crystal of Low Gap; grandchildren, Katy, Charlee, Jayden, Carson, Ryker, McKenzie, Heavenly and Koltyn; two nieces, Sophie Martinez, Summer Phipps; one nephew, Dylan Phipps; special friends, Matt Triplett, Bobby Goss, John Meachum, William Crouse, David Greene, Gale Billings, Bobby Royal, Big Jim, Robert Roten; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. There will be no service at this time.
