Ruby Mae Edwards Tolbert

Ruby Mae Edwards Tolbert, age 69 of 260 Leonard Road, Salisbury, NC died Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington, NC. She was born April 11, 1944 in Alleghany County to the late Dewey and Helen Coulson Edwards. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two sons, Ricky Cleo Crouse and Randall Dewey Crouse. She is survived by one son, Danny Wayne Crouse and wife Sherry of Winston-Salem; one daughter, Robin Louise Crouse of Lexington; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Harrell of Southport, Tad Dill of Lexington, Brad Dill of Lexington, Nikky Crouse Farmer and husband Travis of Lambsburg, VA, Delisha Crouse of Thomasville, Sean Crouse of Liberty, Hayley Crouse of Winston-Salem; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Patsy Wright of Spencer, Linda Edwards of Cooleemee, Judy Pardue and husband Roger of Lexington; two brothers, David Edwards and wife Linda of Welcome, Clinton Edwards and wife Mary Lou of Linwood; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Grandview Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jeff Carpenter and Rev. Gene Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in the Glade Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home.
