Shari Newton Kimmel, age 52 of Sparta, NC passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021. Heaven has received the gift of another beautiful angel. She was born May 15, 1969 in Wicomico County, MD to Sandra Lee Baker Hawkins and the late Billy Gene Hawkins. In addition to her father she was also preceded in death by her sister, Lori Richardson. Shari’s children gave her a special joy treasuring their special moments with each one. She was loved dearly by her family and friends and will be missed by many. She is survived by husband, Jesses Kimmel; one daughter Jessica Newton; one son, Joshua Newton; mother, Sandra Hawkins and step-father Woody Snyder; several nieces and nephews also survive. Her remains will be returned to Delaware for a ceremony given by her family.
