Joy Hines

Joy Absher Hines, age 58 of 72 Fraser Road, Sparta, NC passed away Monday, August 26, 2019 at her residence. She was born December 22, 1960 in Alleghany County to John Linvil and Norma Douglas Absher. She was preceded in death by her father. Joy was the best wife on earth, daughter, and was a Daddy’s girl. Her hobbies included sewing and crafts. She is survived by her husband, James Hines of the home; mother, Norma Absher of Piney Creek; two sisters, Nelda Roten and husband Robert of Laurel Springs, Judy Lane and husband Ronnie of Cleveland; one brother, Loy Absher and wife Debbie of Sparta; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family requests the honor of your presence at the graveside service to honor the life of Joy at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Cranberry Cemetery.
