Nina Eller

Nina Johnson Eller, age 85, of Laurel Springs, NC passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at her residence. She was born October 13, 1934 in Alleghany County to the late Carlie and Ada Evans Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Raymond Eller; two sons, Richard Eller and infant son, James Stewart Eller; one sister, Evon Johnson; four brothers, Rex Johnson, Carl Dean Johnson, Elmer Johnson, and Van Johnson. Nina is survived by one son, Eddie Dean Eller and wife Vickie of Glade Valley; three grandchildren, Carolyn Creed and husband Jimmy of Glade Valley, Devia Dean Eller of Glade Valley, Jacqueline D. Eller of Rock Hill, SC; three great-grandchildren, Jesse Creed and wife Talisha of Glade Valley, Holdene Perry of Rock Hill, SC; Asher Perry of Rock Hill, SC; two great-great-grandchildren, Jase Creed and Jensen Creed both of Glade Valley; two sisters, Wilma Laws and husband Wayne of Statesville, Dorothy Nicholson and husband Clyde of Millers Creek; special friends, Anita Bare, Phil Weaver, and Sandi Mumbulo; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family requests the honor of your presence at the funeral service to honor the life of Nina at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2020 in the chapel of Grandview Memorial Funeral Home with Reverend Ralph Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Whitehead-Joines Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
